Changing lives
Changing lives is our reason for being. The difference we make for people shines through in their stories and testimonials, as shared in our latest Impact Report.
Our work is increasingly valuable for commercial partners, statutory services and other charities too.

Creating social value
Our partners use our impact as their opportunity – creating tangible social value to share with their own stakeholders, clients or communities; improving outcomes for their own participants; recruiting new team members; or accessing training or volunteering opportunities.

How food suppliers help us to tackle food poverty

Food businesses like James Hall & Co are essential to our work tackling food insecurity and food poverty.

“Reducing food waste is an important focus for our business,” says Barry Widdowson from its SPAR Distribution Centre. “So it’s great to have the Charity on our doorstep. We know the food is gratefully received by people who need it most.”

Your opportunity
Redirect your surplus stock to be redistributed to communities and prevent food waste. We can accept deliveries or make collections of stock from food retailers, manufacturers and suppliers across the North West.

“The impact our team makes is incredible. We couldn’t do it without our partners, sponsors and funders, though.”

Why our partnerships are so essential

"Recycling Lives have made me see that people can and will help," says Danielle. Her progress has been helped along the way by input from a range of our partners.

In HMP Styal, one of our prison partners, she worked on recycling processes, completing contracts for Recycling Lives Services, one of our suppliers and sponsors. After release she was offered work with Global Ardour Ltd, one of our employer partners. And when she needed to move house, a grant from St Martin-in-the-Fields Charity, one of our funders, meant she had enough money to move into somewhere decent and safe.

"They've done everything for me," Danielle adds. "It gives you all the stepping stones you need."
