At Recycling Lives Charity & Social Enterprise we empower people, equipping them with the skills and resources they need to change their lives for the better. Sponsoring our work allows businesses to directly support life-changing work and create tangible social impact. We provide regular reports, updating sponsors on the difference their contribution is making, allowing you to demonstrate and report social value to your own clients and stakeholders or the wider community. How you can make a difference
The following are examples of ways you could support our work - by sponsoring an experience, a role, or a department.

Sponsor a resident stayINVESTMENT: c.£13k p/a could cover the costs of housing and supporting a man who has experienced homelessness or recently been released from prison. RETURN: Quarterly, personalised reports sharing updates from the residential programme and impact figures.

Support our food redistributionINVESTMENT: c.£30k p/a could cover the running costs of our warehouse which houses walk-in freezers and chillers storing surplus stock ready for redistribution. RETURN: Regular, personalised reports outlining the work delivered and sharing case studies from volunteers or community groups receiving food.

Sponsor a roleINVESTMENT: c.£35k p/a could cover staffing costs for one of our Key Workers, Specialist Support Workers, Housing or Employment Officers, or Volunteer or CFM Coordinators - all experienced, empathetic professionals supporting our programme participants. RETURN: Regular, personalised reports outlining the individual’s work, sharing case studies and covering direct impact figures.

Support our prison workshopsINVESTMENT: c.£60-120k p/a (depending on prison) could contribute to or cover running and/or staffing costs for our prison-based workshops engaging, training and mentoring ex-offenders to reduce reoffending rates. RETURN: Monthly, personalised reports outlining the team’s work, sharing case studies and including directly attributed employment and recycling outcomes.

Sponsor our Specialist Support teamINVESTMENT: up to c.£130k p/a could contribute to or cover running and staffing costs for our specialist support team as they offer one-to-one support and advocacy or guidance to work with specialist services for mental health or addiction. RETURN: Monthly, personalised reports outlining the team’s work and sharing case studies plus annual social value figures of c.£900k.

Support ACEINVESTMENT: up to c.£200k p/a could contribute to or cover running and/or staffing costs for ACE, our specialist offering supporting people with multiple and complex needs around addiction and offending. RETURN: Monthly, personalised reports outlining the team’s work and sharing case studies plus annual social value figures of more than £2m.
How businesses like yours are making a difference
The Cumberland Building Society supports the delivery of our Food Redistribution efforts across Cumbria and parts of Lancashire. Its donations cover some administrative costs of redistributing food, along with memberships costs for dozens of the charitable groups we deliver goods to. This helps to sustain and grow our impact as we reduce food waste and tackle food poverty while allowing The Cumberland to demonstrate their values to its stakeholders.

VINCI Facilities Building Solutions supports the delivery of our offender rehabilitation work in prisons. Its sponsorship covers the cost a Key Worker working directly with ex-offenders. This helps to sustain our delivery as we improve employability and reduce reoffending rates, while allowing VINCI to report their impact to stakeholders.
