Welcome to Fresh Start Buffets, offering professional external catering services for private events and business meetings. Fresh Start Buffets is an extension of our popular Fresh Start Cafe, based in the Recycling Lives Centre.

We offer a standard menu and can create bespoke menus too, catering for parties of up to 100 people.

Catering for your event with Fresh Start Buffets supports our wider training and rehabilitation programmes.

Our cafe and Training Kitchen - where buffets are prepared and can be served - offer training placements, employment and wrap-around support for people working to overcome histories of offending, addiction or homelessness. Through meaningful work experience in a supportive environment, these opportunities give people the skills and resources to change their lives.

Additionally, profits generated by our Catering offering are reinvested in our Training Kitchen, allowing us to offer free or low cost cookery classes to communities, to improve skills, health and wellbeing.

Our Catering offering is run by Mike, a time-served chef experienced in creating a range of healthy, hearty and diverse meal options for external events.
Mike also runs our community cafe and Training Kitchen, creating new meals and recipes and teaching cookery skills in the community.
