Preston Muslim Girls School

“We introduced our breakfast club to help students from some of the most deprived areas. But because we had no funding to initiate the club, Recycling Lives was a Godsend. Without the help of Jeff and his team the breakfast club would not be the success it is.
“We’re still quite a new school and we’re still growing which means money can be tight so being members has saved us a huge amount of money.
“About 60 girls come along before classes start, whether that’s because their parents are struggling to provide breakfast or the parents have got to be in work early. It offers security to some of the parents.
“Us providing the breakfast might save a family £1 a day – over a year that’s a lot of money and a lot of value.
“The impact of the club really has been immense. We’ve seen a difference in punctuality, attendance, health, concentration levels and academic performance.
“Recycling Lives has made a profound difference to the lives of our girls and we can only thank them for that.”
